2011 was anothe great race.

No changes to the course, but we are not giving out race shirts in 2012

The course remains the same and will be an out and back swim loop, the same challenging bike loop and double loop run. We increased the number of swim waves in 2010 and it worked out great, so we keeping the format so there are fewer numbers in each wave and there will now be 3 minutes in between each wave. The start time for this year’s race has been moved back to 7:00am. This is necessary so that we are off the roads earlier and will still give everyone plenty of time to enjoy the surrounding area.

The race has sold out 3 years in a row! We anticipate the race will sell out quickly this year.

The Lake George Triathlon was on the 2011 Northeast Collegiate Triathlon Conference (NECTC) race calendar. If your collegiate team was part of the NECTC race, we hope you had fun. The NECTC schedule doesn't come out until January, so if you want the LG Triathlon to be on the calendar, please talk with your coach and ask him/her to get us on the calendar. It was a lot of fun last year and we are all looking forward to hosting the athletes again as they are the future of our sport.
